Multiple docs exist about the Tonight Show feud between Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. They serve as a masterclass in network backstabbing, proving that in television loyalty is a liability.
The rise of streaming services and social media has revolutionized the way we consume entertainment. Documentaries like "The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley" (2019) and "The Great Hack" (2019) examine the impact of technology on the entertainment industry. "The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley" tells the story of Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, a healthcare technology company that promised to revolutionize the industry. Working on a documentary about the entertainment industry is a meta-experience. You’re filming the very systems you’re operating in.

The fallout from investigative pieces often leads to fired executives, canceled syndication deals, and renewed police investigations. Furthermore, they have fundamentally altered how studios handle duty of care. Following recent exposés regarding child actors and reality TV contestants, production companies face unprecedented pressure to implement psychological support systems, intimacy coordinators, and stricter labor guardrails on sets. This alphanumeric codification is a deliberate act of dehumanization. The women are stripped of their names, identities, and life stories, reduced to a product code—just another "E-number" in a catalogue of exploitation. This code, "e537," represents a real person whose trust was violated and whose life was likely turned upside down as a result.
In the early days of home video, the "making-of" featurette was born. These were short, sanitized promotional pieces packaged as DVD extras, largely consisting of actors praising their directors and producers celebrating smooth shoots. They were infomercials disguised as documentaries.

Today, the entertainment industry documentary has become its own genre. Platforms like Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ realized that audiences are just as interested in the boardroom drama of a studio as the action on the screen. Films focusing on global icons have reframed how the public views celebrity culture. Documentaries like Miss Americana (Taylor Swift) and Gaga: Five Foot Two (Lady Gaga) dismantled the idea that extreme wealth and fame protect individuals from isolation, chronic pain, or intense public scrutiny. These films show icons sitting in sweatpants on kitchen floors, crying from exhaustion, and navigating the intense pressures of being a global brand. Exposing Exploitation

A MAX file is the native (and proprietary) format of the 3D model editing software 3ds Max by Autodesk. 3ds Max is popular in a wide range of sectors, including video games, movies, professional animation, and amongst other 3D modeling enthusiasts.
The MAX file is the successor to the older 3DS format and was created to address the limitations of that format. A MAX file can contain 3D modeling data along with textures, animations, and scene lighting information, all within a single compact file format.
As already mentioned, the format is proprietary, and MAX files are designed to be opened and edited within the 3ds Max software only; however, it does provide options to export to formats such as FBX, which can then be converted to other formats using our FBX conversion tools.
MAX Converter Capabilities
Currently, our MAX converter can only convert from MAX files, our developers are working to allow converting to MAX files in future versions of our tools. Our MAX 3D Model/Mesh tool does not support any color material data contained within MAX files, so the converted file will not contain any color information.
