A hard reset does not delete video files from the hard drive. Only formatting the HDD does that.
: Unplug the power cable from the back of the DVR.
: The DVR will display a unique QR code on the screen. Use P6SPro App : Open the P6SPro app on your smartphone.
: Keep holding for 15–20 seconds until you hear a long beep or see the system reboot.
Replug the power cable while holding the button down for 15–20 seconds.
If you are physically at the recorder with a monitor and mouse, this is the fastest way to recover access.

Keep the pads bridged, plug the power cable back into the DVR, and turn it on.
After booting, the login screen should accept the ( admin / 12345 ). You will be forced to create a new admin password immediately.
Carefully remove the battery, leave it out for 10-15 minutes, then replace it.
