Press the button (typically 7 times) until you reach the "3D FILTER2" screen. Look for the second line which reads "CTRL:ENA EX:DIS" . Press CURSOR RIGHT so that "DIS" (Disabled) flashes. Press UP/YES to change it to "EX:ENA" (Enabled). Disable Memory Protection :

(Size ~ 32KB for Programs, 32KB for Combinations, etc. – total ~64KB for full memory)

Layered or split patches utilizing up to eight Programs.

Go to Options > MIDI Buffers . Set both the Low Level and SysEx Output Buffers to 1024 bytes. Set the Num Buffers to 32 . Introduce a delay of around 60ms to 100ms between buffers if you encounter errors.
