If the code appears strictly after 3 to 4 hours of operation, change out the primary and secondary fuel filters.

In simpler terms, the main computer (Machine Control Unit - MCU) is sending a signal to the P1 pump to adjust its flow, but the solenoids controlling that flow are not receiving enough electrical power to actuate properly. Common Symptoms

In some models, having the Auxiliary Mode switch in the wrong position can trigger this code as a "ghost" fault.
