For those who may be new to the world of wedgies, let's start with the basics. A wedgie is a type of underwear that is designed to provide support and coverage for the genital area. It's typically characterized by a triangular or wedge-shaped design that provides a snug and comfortable fit.
I can provide specific brand recommendations or fabric weave breakdowns based on your setup. Share public link
You're a T-wedgie kind of person! You're looking for moderate support and coverage. Try a T-wedgie for a comfortable and secure fit.
Match your dominant letter from the quiz above to find your ideal nighttime fit. Mostly A’s: The Minimalist Thong High-cut sides with minimal back coverage.
This is the entry-level choice for those seeking a "homey" feel. High-quality, ribbed cotton provides a soft but insistent pull. Because cotton has less "snap-back" than synthetic blends, a cotton wedgie tends to settle in and hold its shape.
You like fun with function. Try a one-sided wedgie (left or right cheek only). Pull the back band up diagonally so one side rides higher. It’s asymmetrical, playful, and won’t wake you up when you roll over. Bonus: it’s easy to fix mid-dream.
Elevating your torso uses gravity to keep stomach acid from traveling up your esophagus.
You like a compromise. You want the security of a higher-cut, wedgie-style fit but with a bit more coverage on the sides. This is perfect for side sleepers who need comfort in specific areas without compromising on overall hip comfort.
The phrase "what wedgie should i sleep in" is a specific artifact of a much larger, diverse online community. These are not just random quizzes; they are part of a subculture that has its own groups, art, and discussions. Spaces like "Wedgie University" on DeviantArt are dedicated to "a gender neutral and analytical approach to the wedgie community," fostering discussion among enthusiasts and fetishists. Content on platforms like Patreon features wedgie-themed "zines" focused on fictional characters, and personal essays explore the visual and psychological appeal of the wedgie as a "non-sexual turn-on".
The concept of a "punishment" you must sleep in creates a stakes-filled, immersive experience. In one quiz, a result might instruct you to "give yourself an all around wedgie, sleep in it, then take it out when you wake up". Another might assign a "shoulder wedgie" that you must sleep in and possibly wear to school as part of the dare. The "hanging wedgie" is another frequent feature. One quiz's entire premise is to determine how long you must stay in a hanging wedgie.
The term "wedgie" in this context often refers to the specific fit and feel of your sleepwear—whether it’s a high-cut brief, a cheeky bikini, or a cozy pair of boyshorts. Here is everything you need to know to find your perfect nighttime match. 1. The Fabric Factor: Prioritize Breathability
Sleep on a top sheet you don’t love. You will—no exaggeration—perform the exorcist in your sleep. Also, keep a pair of shorts nearby for the morning walk of shame to the coffee maker.
Sits right at or above the belly button with full rear coverage.
Take the "What Wedgie Should I Sleep In Quiz" and discover your perfect match. Whether you're a comfort-seeker, smooth-operator, eco-warrior, or hybrid, there's a wedgie out there for you. Happy sleeping!

You may wonder how a sophisticated software like VectorBee could be free given that it takes many dedicated scientists and IT engineers to create and constantly upgrade.
It all began with our fearless leader, Professor Bruce Lahn. As the Chief Scientist of VectorBee (and also VectorBuilder), Bruce, like many of you, was a grad student who loved two things: free food at seminars and free software. But as he progressed beyond the humble grad student to positions of greater responsibilities, he realized that nothing is truly free, and someone's free food always comes out of someone else's pocket.
But Bruce also strongly believes that research software like VectorBee should be open to the entire research community, whether academia or industry. He thus pledges to finance VectorBee with VectorBuilder's R&D budget to keep it free for all.
In return, Bruce asks that you consider VectorBuilder's wonderful products and services, and also spread the good word about VectorBuilder and VectorBee. This would help us keep VectorBee free and continuously improved.
The most heartfelt thanks from us all at VectorBuilder and VectorBee!
